Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray, Our founder a great Visionary, firmly believed that Education is the most effective means of Social Transformation and Educational Institutions are the basis of development of society and Nation. With this in mind, he established 'Adiwasi Seva Samittee’ and ‘Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’, almost seven decades ago, in 1945 and 1952 respectively.

Today, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir has become one of the premier educational institutions in North Maharashtra and has spread its wings across other States with Rajrajeshwari Education and Research Foundation in Udaipur, Rajasthan and has developed into a large educational complex hub. Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir is proud of some of the reputed educational institutions in Maharashtra such as Samajshree Prashantdada KBH Hiray Dental College, Nashik and Institute of Industrial and Pharmaceutical Technology, Nashik. From a humble beginning, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir has knitted together a large network of more than 96 Educational institutions harbouring more than 100000 students from Pre–Primary to Professional Colleges, Technical Institutes and Research Centres.
